Dashboard and workspaces

  • Faster, calmer dashboard — Bootstrap and note lists load more efficiently; the sidebar keeps your workspaces and folders visible instead of flashing empty while your session is still loading.
  • Shared workspaces that match how you work — Notes you create inherit the folder you are in; shared team workspaces show the right notes and stay aligned when you move between personal and team context.
  • Labels you can trust — Label counts and the note list use the same rules, including when you filter by folder or workspace subfolder, so what you see matches what you count.
  • Workspace creation that sticks — Creating a team workspace no longer fails when the URL-friendly name matches an existing one; the app picks a unique address automatically.
  • List and table views — Switch how you browse notes in the dashboard (list vs table) so dense libraries are easier to scan.
  • “No folder” and “No label” filters — Find notes that are not filed or not tagged, without awkward workarounds.

Sharing and publishing

  • Workspace portals — On Pro, publish a read-only portal so anyone with the link can browse published notes from that workspace in one place — ideal for help centers, release summaries, or a public face for a project.
  • Stable help-style URLs — Short paths like /help and /portal/help can point at a designated workspace portal so links are easy to remember and share.
  • Sharper sharing flows — Workspace sharing and shared-note behavior were tightened so ownership, visibility, and what collaborators see stay consistent as you edit.

Editor and preview

  • Math in preview — KaTeX rendering for formulas, with sensible handling of display math so technical docs read correctly in preview.
  • Richer Markdown — Underline-style emphasis, cleaner nested lists, and sanitized HTML where preview supports it — less friction between source and what readers see.
  • Tables — Improved table viewing and editing in contexts where you work with tabular content alongside your notes.
  • Toolbar and mobile — Toolbar behavior and mobile layout got polish so writing on a phone or tablet is less fiddly.

Collaboration

  • Collab that fails gracefully — Expired or invalid session tokens are detected before you waste time in a broken room; drafts can be promoted before you lean on share links so people see the version you intend.
  • Realtime and Yjs — Sync paths were refined so multi-user sessions reconcile edits more predictably after reconnects and merges.

AI and tools

  • MCP — Fixes and session reliability for connecting SpaceMD to assistants and tools that speak the Model Context Protocol — fewer dropped sessions when your AI stack talks to your notes.

  • Slides and blocks — Slide-style content, block layouts, and presentation-style views got meaningful fixes — light/dark, sync, column heights, and navigation between slides so decks feel intentional, not fragile.
  • Embeds and sharing — Richer options for sharing content that includes HTML and embeds, so what you publish matches what you composed.

Dashboard and organization

  • Smarter labels — Labeling workflows evolved so collections of notes are easier to curate and filter.
